The rubber plant gets its name from the white latex coursing through its veins, which was once used to make rubber. The plant has 13 leaves which fan out from a bark creating a glossy green plant. The individual leaves emerge from the bark the glossy leaves have a thick, rubber-like look. This ornamental plant has a bold structure and is one of the most well known plants in the world.
Perfect if you don't want the hassle or have the time to care for living plants. Free from maintenance so there is no need to water or prune. The plant simply looks perfect all year round. The foliage is UV protected to prevent the colour from fading and is supplied in a plastic pot. For an extra stylish look, plant up into a large planter or tub.
Please note the plant will be packed in a cardboard carton for maximum protection, lying down flat in the box which can cause the foliage to be compressed and a little out of shape. The perfect shape can be regained by gently pulling and fluffing the foliage back into shape.
